I've never thought of myself as a girlie gal but my undying love for pastel pink is threatening to evict every edgy vein in my body. How can you not love a cotton candy pink, it is just so dreamy and pretty. Who wouldn't love to wake up and everything around you is a perfect, dreamy vignette............obviously dreaming for the weekend at this point.

Happy 4th of July
Happy Birthday America!
At this moment I wish I was in the United States to experience all the celebration. An afternoon in the park with a picnic mat, a mountain of food with my good 'ol disposable barbecue pit, crack open the bottle and celebrate with everyone else in the sun. Perfect! :)
Well, since I am 10,000 miles away from the action; I decided that I will just indulge in some great 4th of July inspired gems! :)

Atlas holds the world
I always love the sight of an atlas map as it helps me put my world into perspective. It is a reminder that I am one of billions in this vast world of people, stories, experience and life; and I am humbled and thankful.
The world map also triggers the dreamer in me. I remember the places I've been, the people I've seen, and I get excited about the places I will go and will meet. What do you think of when you look at the world map?
In a room, a wall size atlas map can be a great graphic piece that can be used to road-map stories of your travels and experiences you've shared with this world; a great conversation starter. If nothing else, it will allow for a little geography lesson from time to time - which I need quite a bit of.
However, if you love the shape of the countries and continents but having the atlas map fully blown up in a room may be too bold for you, I've stumbled on some great finds on Etsy that will let you have the world in your hands.
